The models are knitted in Marianne Isagers yarn.
Isager has several yarn types of the same thickness, and the idea is that customers can choose which yarn they want to the different designs, for example being able to choose between wool and cotton.
Marianne Isager has added a number after the yarn-name - 1, 2 or 3, as a help for the customers to choose among the qualities. Same number = same thickness.
Yarns with the same number can substitute each other, but Marianne Isager do not recommend to knit pure Alpaca qualities together, as this may give a heavier result than intended. It is better if one of the threads is containing wool.

Remember that you can use alternative Isager yarns if you want too, and some of these models are also suitable for any spare yarn you may have left from earlier projects.
